HPU Ranks In Top 7 Percent Nationally In Forbes.com 'America's Best Colleges'

High Point University has been ranked as one of the top 610 colleges and universities across the country in the list, "America's Best Colleges," created by Forbes.com. This places HPU in the top 7 percent of the 6,600 higher-education institutions throughout the United States. Dr. Nido Qubein, president of HPU, credits the tremendous growth in academics and campus facilities.

HPU Moves Up To No. 3 In U.S. News & World Report Rankings

High Point University continues to move up in the ranks, thanks to its continued transformation in academics, student life programs and facilities. The university was today named No. 3 among Regional Colleges in the South in "America's Best Colleges" 2011 edition, published by the U.S. News & World Report. Last year, High Point was listed at No. 5 in the same report. Four years ago, HPU occupied the No. 15 spot.

HPU Named Among Top 26 Best Private Schools In The Nation In Parade Magazine's 'College A-List'

Parade Magazine has listed High Point University as one of the top 25 large private schools in the nation in the magazine's annual "College A-List. High Point University has also been honored in several national rankings, including "America’s Best Colleges” by Forbes.com, as well as "America's Best Colleges" 2011 edition, published by the U.S. News & World Report.

HPU Chairman Of Department Of Marketing And Sport Management Publishes Article In 'Polar Record'

Dr. Richard Parker, chairman of the Department of Marketing and Sport Management at High Point University and president of the Southern Association for Canadian Studies had an article published in the most recent edition of the Cambridge University Press journal "Polar Record" which is the premier international publication for issues affecting the Arctic and the Antarctic.

HPU's Pi Kappa Phi Receives Honors At National Conference In Florida

The Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity from High Point University was recently honored with several awards at the 52nd Supreme Chapter, the group's biennial national conference. The event was held Aug. 5-9 at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. Fraternity members David Rad, chapter president, and Andrew Realon, immediate past president, attended the conference.
